About

My name is Sami McIntosh, and I am a senior at the University of Colorado at

Boulder, where I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a

Minor in Leadership. Having grown up in downtown Chicago, Illinois as an only child, I made the transition to Boulder, Colorado, and this change of environment has significantly influenced my personal growth and development.

Throughout my time in Boulder, I have developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the area, particularly through engaging in walks on the various trails that the town has to offer. Additionally, I have found great joy in basking in the sunshine of Boulder. These experiences have not only allowed me to cultivate a sense of serenity and wellbeing, but they have also taught me the importance of embracing and immersing myself in the world around me.

Music holds a special place in my heart, and I actively seek opportunities to attend live shows and concerts whenever possible. The power of music to inspire, connect, and evoke emotions is something that I find truly captivating. Attending these events enables me to broaden my horizons, explore different genres, and engage with diverse communities.

As someone who seeks new experiences, I am continuously motivated to step outside of my comfort zone. I firmly believe that personal growth occurs when we challenge ourselves and embrace unfamiliar situations. This mindset has influenced my academic pursuits, extracurricular involvements, and overall approach to life, as I constantly strive to expand my knowledge, skills, and perspectives.

In summary, my journey from the bustling city of Chicago to the community of Boulder has molded me into the person I am today. Through my love for nature, appreciation for music, and need for personal growth, I am prepared make a meaningful impact in my future plans.
